no more

i did it. i read the notebook. The whole thing. He was there with me the whole time. He showed me all of it. I wasn't just reading it, I was living it. The Stranger, Him, everything. And I know that there is no hope. He's waiting for me, all the time. All of them are. There's no hope, no hope for any of us. One by one, we will fall. It's not a matter of if but when. Eventually, we're all doomed.

Fuck it. I'm going on my own terms.

I had a dream last night.

I had a dream that I was sitting at a desk. It was a plain desk, completely empty. And that was all there was. There was the desk, the chair, and me.

And it. it was there at my shoulder, whispering in my ear. Then it gave me a pencil and the notebook. And it told me to write.

I don';t remember what I wrote. But for what seemed like an eternity, i drifted through the void, writing what it told me to. Then I  was done. And it told me to wake up.

i did. i was in the middle of the hallway with the notebook clutched in my hands. i threw the notebook away. i didn';t sleep again that night. I don't think i'm going to sleep easily again for a while./

The notebook had to go, that much i know is true. But i don't think the notebook is the problem. i think I'm the problem.

...

So. When I got back to my room today, I found this little notebook on my desk. It had that same weird triangle symbol on it that I saw in a couple of those videos. My room mate insists that he didn't see who put it there. I'm inclined to assume the guy isn't a lying bastard, but I really don't know at this point.

The notebook came with a note attached. It simply read "tonight".

I haven't touched the notebook. I don't plan on sleeping tonight. On the off-chance that this is more than some stupid prank, I'll be ready.

Funerals Suck

As the title would indicate, I've got funerals on the mind. Two of them, actually. I had to take a plane to the other side of the country for my great-uncle's funeral, before flying back home once I heard that some friend-of-a-friend bit the dust as well. Damn depressing way to spend a week.

I haven't yet had a chance to test my theory I mentioned in my last post, but while I was away, the same guy who posted that last video posted this. I think I've got a pretty good idea of what's going on here. There are a few people who I need to have a word with.

First, sleep. And lots of it. Jet lag is a bitch.

No Content Today, Just Baseless Speculation

Remember how I said that I wasn't going to muck up this blog with random crap about my personal life? Yeah, okay, I lied.

So I did a little more checking around with that video a posted a link to yesterday. Turns out, there are more like it on the Youtube channel. All of them were... odd. But it's the title of the account that's making me think. "Embrace The Archangel".

I have a hunch. Next post, I'll tell you all where it leads, if anywhere.

Business as Usual

Alright, so I'm mostly over my recent... "issues." My good friend Benadryl helped out with that. So, after resting in an over-the-counter-drug induced coma for about fifteen hours, I'm feeling better. Ish. I'm not sure if you're supposed to take as much as I did, but I'll be damned if it didn't work. Beats insomnia, anyway.

Additionally, a friend of mine linked me to this video. He asked me if I made it, sort of like a marketing tool for my craptastic blog (his words, not mine). I pleaded ignorance. I really have no idea what 'the eyes of god are blind' is supposed to mean. I'm beginning to think said friend is trying to pull some kind of lame joke on me.

Either way, it is sort of creepy.

...

Right, on to the actual content. Our topic for today, kids, is the Archangel. Archangels exist in all of the Abrahamic faiths (that's Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, for those of you not in the know), as well as a few others, but there are a few key differences between the faiths in the way Archangels are portrayed. Namely, number. Christianity (usually) has between three and seven, depending on the denomination. Islam and Judaism each have more, about 8-12. There are, however, three Archangels that appear in almost all of the faiths: Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.  They each have their own abilities and domains that they are associated with.

For more on each of them... well, that's for another post. Tune in next time, those of you who apparently care.
